Been going here for 20 years great place

My favorite is the souflaki they cut off the spit. And the plates are huge and not expensive. Lots of respect to the lady who runs the place.

**incident during Covid- stay away from the Jean Talon location**Terrible management. Do not order from this place. They made a mistake in the order and tried to blame it on the delivery guy.. during the pandemic she asked us to send our food back to be sent to another home. This is criminal behavior over two missing sandwiches. Do not order from here.The girl managing the phone should get intense sensitivity training with her employees and should probably not be in a management position with the way she talks to people. In addition, delivery staff is treated like dirt and is absolutely inexcusable. Lady, please resign. To the owners: remove this woman from your business and do not look back. She will get you saddled with a lawsuit for spreading Covid.

I have been a regular customer at Village Grec for over 10 years so I was extremely disappointed when I ordered take-out and the restaurant seemed to be in complete disarray. Not only was I waiting an unacceptably long time, I noticed that the cook was not wearing any mask or gloves and was touching his face and raw meat while preparing food and not washing his hands. This would be unacceptable during normal times but this was during the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore posed a significant danger to the public. I tried to address this with the manager but she was completely dismissive of my concern. When I pressed for a refund given the unacceptable wait, general chaos/confusion and unsanitary food preparation I was met with an equally dismissive tone. I simply left and ate somewhere else. Suffice it to say that I will not return to Village Grec and I should hope that they rectify this promptly.

Havent tried anything else yet on their menu but best chicken souvlaki pita in town !!

I ordered a plate of 2x souvlaki sticks on skip the dishes. It was 15.75$ + taxes + 2$ tip was a total of 20.11$.Delivery was quite fast (30min). Food was good but was expecting better for the price. Might be better when eating at the restaurant.

Great food and decent proportions on the main plates. The starters are too expensive though which can rank up you bill very fast. This takes away the tavern aspect

Ordered from Village for the first time in many years and let me tell you i was not dissapointed. I ordered the loose gyro platter which comes with salad, rice and fries! Everything was delicious and the portion was big enough for two! Three slices of bread as well.. The gyro meat maybe needs to be cut a little thinner but in general everything was awsome.. It had lost its touch many years ago thats why we stopped ordering but now its our go to resto in px! If your in the area and craving Greek food this is the place to go.. :)

Great food, cozy atmosphere, restaurant has been there forever and still going strong

we requested a delivery when the delivery boy came we told them that we are missing 2 sandwiches. We made the delivery boy wait as we called. Not only did the owner/manager blame and was horrible to the delivery guy and making him feel bad when its not his fault. During Covid times she did not want to give us a credit but instead wanted to take the food back to give to someone else after we touched it. She argued with the delivery guy so much we decided to just pay the bill even if its missing. She was going to make the delivery guy pay it out of his pocket. Inhuman managers/owners never again this is despicable.

An institution of Montreal,Place is small but you come for the amazing Gyros & Souvlakis.Gotta say their Gyros pita hands down is second to none 👌in town.You can also order for takeout.Prices are good, service is ok, food is amazing !!

Great restaurant for your Greek craving. The Gyro are made with actual lamb that are well seasoned and perfectly grilled. Every bite, you taste that crisped exterior with the soft and juicy interior.This is a must go for any Greek food lover.Feel of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming.

Pretty amazing food in a laid back and cozy restaurant, its small and a lot of action happens as the cooks and the waitresses hustle the plates. Fun time.

Service is perfect for week days at lunch time. Generous plate size. Changed their fries but still pretty good. The go to fast food Greek place of this neighborhood (Parc Extension).

Food is always fresh but the stafff is really weird, waitress need to be better trained with greetings and other stuff.

Used to be great, souvlaki are now half filled (half empty), very little portion of rice and fries compared to other Greek restaurants, salad was stale.

This used to be my favorite Greek restaurant and I have been ordering from them for years. I'm not sure what changed but they have gone way downhill as of this year. The gyro pitas are still good but are half the size as they used to be and there is a lot of fat on the meat :( It's the same thing for all of the side dishes (rice fries and salad). Also, the salad was very old and tasteless. It used to be great value and great food but now with half sized portions and quality dropping,.. I will not order again.

Had a pita souvlaki, home fries and we shared a greek salad. The pita was very supple, the tzatziki was super yummy and the fries, so crunchy and made to perfection! Service was quick, efficient and friendly! Time well spent and will definitely be returning.

Ordered a vegetarian plate for dinner. The order arrived with just a vegetarian pita. I called the restaurant and the lady who answered admitted she thought she saw a vegetarian pita and not a plate. I was upset and asked for a credit and she got frustrated and hung up. VERY BAD SERVICE.
